Welcome to the website of Git-Er-Done Towing ("we," "us," or "our"), a towing and roadside assistance service based in Kamloops, British Columbia. By accessing or using our website (the "Site") or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.


Services

Git-Er-Done Towing provides towing, roadside assistance, and vehicle recovery services in and around Kamloops, BC. All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion, including in cases of unsafe conditions, illegal requests, or non-payment.


Use of the Website

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Site or request our services, in accordance with British Columbia law. 
  • Permitted Use: You may use the Site to learn about our services, request a tow, or contact us. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to access restricted areas. 
  • Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when requesting services or contacting us through the Site.


Service Requests and Payment

  • Requests: Service requests can be made via phone, email, or the Site’s contact form. We will provide an estimated cost and time of arrival, but these are subject to change based on traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. 
  • Payment: Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, debit, credit, and e-transfer. Unpaid invoices may be subject to late fees or collection actions. All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes (e.g., GST). 
  • Cancellations: If you cancel a service request after we have dispatched a tow truck, a cancellation fee may apply.


Liability and Damage

  • Vehicle Condition: You must inform us of any pre-existing damage or special conditions related to your vehicle. We are not liable for damage that was not caused by our negligence or misconduct. 
  • Limitation of Liability: Git-Er-Done Towing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left in your vehicle, nor for indirect damages (e.g., lost wages, missed appointments) arising from our services.
  • Storage: Vehicles left in our possession for more than 30 days without payment or arrangement may be subject to storage fees or disposal in accordance with British Columbia law.


Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, logos, and images, is the property of Git-Er-Done Towing or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.


Privacy

We collect and use personal information (e.g., name, phone number, vehicle details) to provide our services. Our Privacy Policy, available on the Site, explains how we handle your data. By using our services, you consent to this collection and use.


Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our services if you violate these Terms, fail to pay for services, or engage in abusive or threatening behavior toward our staff.


Force Majeure

Git-Er-Done Towing is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, or equipment failure.


Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kamloops, BC.


Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
